How does pricing work?

Accepted Answer

We offer three shapes: Hour Packs (a bundle of live hours used across one event or many within 12 months — from a 10-hour pack for a first event up to a 100-hour pack for a busy year), the Annual Plan (a renewable annual subscription for teams running events on a steady weekly cadence), and Enterprise (custom-scoped engagements with managed event services). What counts as a "live hour"? How is usage measured?

A live hour is 60 minutes of active, real-time translation during your event. Usage is tracked down to the minute — a 45-minute event consumes 0.75 hours, not a full hour, so you only pay for the time you actually run. The session timer starts when you begin a live event and pauses when you stop. Setup, rehearsals, and idle time do not count toward your usage.

What's the difference between Hour Packs and the Annual Plan?

Hour Packs suit teams running anywhere from a single event up to about a dozen a year — buy a bundle of hours, use them as needed across 12 months. The Annual Plan suits teams with a steady weekly or monthly cadence (recurring services, training programmes, weekly broadcasts) and has three concrete advantages over Hour Packs: a lower effective per-hour rate than any pack size, a higher mobile-user baseline (500 vs 250), and priority support. Rule of thumb: if you expect to use more than ~175 live hours in a year, the Annual Plan is cheaper than buying Hour Packs.

What happens if I don't use all my prepaid hours?

Hour Packs are valid for 12 months from purchase. Unused hours roll across as many events as you like within that window. We can also discuss extensions or upgrades to a larger pack if your needs change.

How do mobile users work? Are attendees limited?

Accepted Answer

Big-screen captions and audio in your venue are always unlimited — everyone in the room sees and hears the translation, no cap. The "mobile users" limit only applies to people who need their own private translation on their phone via QR code (typically because they want a different language to the floor, or want to listen on personal headphones). Each plan includes a per-event mobile-user baseline (250 on Hour Packs, 500 on the Annual Plan, 500+ on Enterprise) and that baseline is the same regardless of which Hour Pack size you choose. If a specific event needs more mobile users, audience-scale add-ons can be applied to any plan.

What do I get after each event ends?

Every plan automatically saves a downloadable transcript of the live event when it ends. Source language is included on every plan; target-language transcripts are included on every Hour Pack and up. No extra steps and nothing to configure: the transcript is in your dashboard within minutes of the event ending.

Do you offer nonprofit, education, or faith-based discounts?

Yes — registered nonprofits, accredited educational institutions, and faith-based organisations qualify for a discount on every plan. Contact us with proof of eligibility and we will apply it across your quote.
